O&S Partner Christian Schreiber to Argue in the California Court of Appeal 

O&S represents an employee in a class action against Burlington Coat Factory. The plaintiff alleges that Burlington bullied her and hundreds of other Burlington workers into illegally agreeing to take on debts for ordinary retail mistakes. After the trial court denied Burlington’s anti-SLAPP motion, Burlington appealed the decision. The First Appellate District of the California Court of Appeal will be holding oral argument in early 2021. O&S Partner Christian Schreiber is slated to argue on behalf of the workers.
